We are a group of Chicagoland actors and performers who share a common interest-- to perform old time radio programs for the community. We are all volunteer and not for profit.
We established connection with The Oak Park Arms in September of 2002. Since then we have performed a wide range of shows form the Golden Age of Radio.
We perform roughly about once every two months. This is due to the fact that all of us donate our time to create these shows. It takes quite some effort to browse through the thousands of old time radio episodes, select a favorite, listen and type out the script (many of these are not available in print and have to be painstakingly transcribed), gather sound effects, then rehearse and mount.
Since the entire cast donates their time and energy, we can only do it this often. But we strive to make sure that it's well worth the wait.
